What, specifically, makes you dislike the sci-fi and fantasy film genres so much?
Because when I'm doing or watching something for entertainment, I pefer to be entertained.
Yes. Basketball for most of my life. In fact, I'm just getting my kids in to the greatest of all sports now!
Soon e'll be following the NBA as a family...And I guess NBL if we must... 😛
I also won a few Gymnastics competitions in my youth, believe it or no. And played Field Hockey.
Despite being quite good and a winner at all. Basketball is my sport.

What do you consider quality entertainment?
Playing what?
Going out with friends/family for good food and catch ups. Comedy shows (live is so much better).
In terms of TV/Movies, not a lot does it for me. I find a lot of that stuff boring.
I love Survivor, and a few more comedic shows, and aspire to head out there one day - and know I'd be a social threat in the game...As my sister in law says 'When you get on you're either one of the first three out, or one of the last three left' 😛
Oh. And True Crime.
I'm a massive true crime addict. And Unsolved Mysteries.
You know, because they're thought provoking and require me to use my brain.
Also love Docos. On anything. History, Politics, Religion (mine or someone elses)...
As for what I (in jest) refer to as 'geek fiction'...It's just so blah. Like my wife or friend or whoever will be watching it and I'll have to get a book to avoid being so bored that I'd resort to seeing how long it takes to get a rusty spoon in my brain through any orifice my head will provide.
