I think I have, but only once.

An hour ago I was using a hot air stripper to remove numerous layers of paint from a very old Fender Stratocaster guitar I'm attempting to restore.

Yes...

To expand on that rather silly reply I have dimmer switches installed everywhere so that I can adjust the level of light in a room. If I'm relaxing or using a screen I like the light to be really low but for everything else I tend to have things bright, especially now my eyesight is not at its best.

I'm not really sure about that but I live on the seafront where it can get cold enough to freeze the air in your lungs.

I stopped having those a fair few years ago 🙂

Steam trains 😱 mechanical typewriters and the irritating signal the BBC used to broadcast when they shut down for the night. I guess they thought we were too stupid to turn off our TVs without it!

Yes, my gun turrets are always on standby, ready to repel the hordes of trick or treaters

I have a WW1 bayonet I use as a letter opener. I've never seen that advertised.
