Dogs don't like me, I've been attacked a number of times and quite badly hurt on one of occasion. Even the most docile, well trained dogs are likely to try and take a chunk out of me and I have no idea why.
It works both ways. Like certain drugs, music amplifies feelings so it can give you a lift but if you dwell on negative thoughts it can also add fuel to those thoughts.
As long as what they do is done within the law then of course, which is just the same for everyone else.
What is happening in the UK right now has less to do with racial tension and more to do with years of austerity and a complete failure of government.
It's also not at all helpful when people like Musk actively promote racial hatred and ultra right wing propaganda on social media. I cannot even begin to image what his agenda is but the consequences of his abhorrent behaviour is already very noticeable.
They are a lot lighter which makes them far more comfortable to play standing or sitting because apart from the weight difference which is quite considerable, they are a lot better balanced. Removing the headstock changes the centre of gravity so there's no tendency for the neck end of the guitar to dive down.
The reason I generally don't favour them is because of tuning issues in a live environment. If the guitar start to detune while you are playing there's really not a lot you can do about it because the positioning of the tuning parts makes it really difficult to tune in a conventional manner.
I find music that endures is often a song that doesn't grab me on first listening. I also have a tendency to home in on the component parts of a piece of music rather than the whole.
Here's an example of a fantastic song that is driven along by the bass line played by the late great Bob Babbitt. People generally don't really hear it because it's not the primary focus of the song but it would have a completely different song without it .
