I remembered you had a forum before and I will ask this... what was the reason for its closure?
And, would you ever think about having a forum again or, is it something you wouldn't think about again?

Someone who is trustworthy and willing to tell the truth at his or her own expense. That's the real mark of honesty as well as good character when someone is willing to suffer the consequences of speaking the truth.

It never really closed as you can still log in and visit it if you wanted to but it's been long since abandoned as I was no longer in a place where I could run it anymore after the very publicly embarrassing e-mail cracking that I endured back in late 2009 which lead me to no longer being fit to lead anymore combined with Anna(Xarina) moving to American to eventually marry Jason(Minato) who they have a son now meant they were no longer able to be apart of it anymore and I supposed the rest just upped and left when it became obvious it was finished. It had its time and it did good so I don't have any regrets over it.
I thought about it every now and then but I don't know if I would have a really good enough reason to want to start a new one or have a people who could work together with me to build it which is what I had when I built Rapture which is why it did so well. A forum is only as good as the people who make up its community and not nearly as much as the guy at the top pushing the switches and pulling the levers.

I honestly wouldn't know what you should pack in one bag since I never traveled overseas/ to a different country before so I don't think I could really answer this one.
