No lol. I don't intend to watch it either. So many episodes 🙁 I stayed clear of Naruto, Bleach and One Piece. Haha!
Those are all considered some of the bigger ones too, aren't they? Any particular reason for staying away from them? Just the sheer amount of episodes?

@TDK: I wasn't joking when I said I wasn't an Otaku and those are definitely otaku shows for people who REALLY love anime. That takes dedication haha. 🙂 I enjoy anime in the same way that I'd enjoy an American live-action show. The sheer number of episodes would put most casual anime fans off. XD. Say if I only watch two or three shows a year, which is usually the case, I'm picking out the ones that I know I'm probably going to enjoy. ^^ I don't have a lot of time to be honest. I was actually a first year undergrad at uni when one of my flatmates introduced me to anime. He insisted that I watch Cowboy Bebop. XD

@Shannon Apple Oooh. How many episodes of Cowboy Bebop are there? And how long did it take you to watch it all...if you've seen it all?

@TDK: I think it's possibly 26 episodes if I remember correctly and a movie. We watched a couple of episodes a night over a couple of weeks. 🙂

There is an American live-action adaption in the pipeline in the form of a TV series. If you haven't seen it, you should. It's not your typical anime. The soundtrack is so amazing.

@Shannon Apple Well that's certainly a lot fewer than I thought it would have been xD
Are you going to be checking out the new live-action adaptation? Has it been in the works for a long time?

I might. Depends on how busy I am. XD. I'm not sure how long to be honest. Someone on the forum posted about it today.

@Shannon Apple Well shoot, I thought they were much longer than that.

Let's switch topics here for a slight change of pace. Favourite gaming franchise?

Final Fantasy. Although, I no longer have a console to play them. Also not available on mac. XD.

Who was your childhood hero?
She-ra ... I barely remembered the cartoon, but I loved the character. I think it must have been re-run in the 80s, because I was definitely too young to remember it's original 1985 release. She was this powerful princess that kinda made me feel like girls could do anything.

Princess Leia... again, growing up, she was a role model to me. She was pretty bad ass.

Most cartoon shows during the 80s that were aimed at girls were so dumb. She-ra was an exception. I watched "boys" shows mostly, apart from carebears (but then, I think everyone liked carebears). lol.

How ambitious are you?
Well, I'll put it this way. I want to do the best I can in life, but I'm not the sort of person who gets jealous when someone else does better than me. Like in college last year, there were people in my class who wanted to be the best. They looked for help, but wouldn't give any in return. Then there was my group of friends who actually helped each other out. It was nice. OR, I wouldn't walk on someone else, just to get ahead. That's not me. I friggen hate people who are like that.

If peanut butter wasn’t called peanut butter, what would it be called?

What was the last situation where some weird stuff went down and everyone acted like it was normal, and you weren’t sure if you were crazy or everyone around you was crazy?

@Jerlene Healthy!

Although, right now my situation is stuck between those two things. If I was rich, I could have paid for the surgery I needed 18 months ago. The fact that I'm not means that I'm now in the position of trying to get my surgery part funded through the European cross-border scheme to have that surgery in another country.

So... hmmm... having some money would lead to being healthy. XD

What’s the best / worst thing about being a (their job)?

I'm sorry to hear. I wish more countries would implement universal healthcare. We shouldn't have to pay to live. It's a terrible concept.

Do you think we should have worldwide universal healthcare?

We have "universal healthcare" or had. Go back 10-15 years, nearly no one had health insurance. Private healthcare was a choice for those who wanted a little luxury. Now the waiting lists are endless. I am going out of the country to have my surgery because they told me it could be 6-9 months and upwards of a year before I got it done here on the public waiting list. I was diagnosed in Sept 2017, and banished from working. But I've been suffering since March 2017. That'll give you an idea of how bad it is.

It would be awesome if every country had it, but unfortunately, greed makes it unsustainable.

There was a Prime Time Investigates programme done on this by RTÉ. They discovered that consultants on the public payroll were taking private patients on the time they were being paid to do public hours. These reporters were basically stalking doctors over a few weeks and counting the hours they spent working in each hospital. In effect, they were getting paid twice. One doctor was paid for 18 hours on average each week that he did not work in the public hospital. During that time, he was at his private clinic. My doctor told me to watch it and it would open my eyes to what is really going on in this country. She is adament that there isn't a shortage of care, it's just all mismanaged.
