My female doctor is doing more than the male doctor I was seeing. She's really awesome.Oh yeah! I agree totally with that, and especially male doctors. Some females will listen if they've been through the same thing.
Ugh I understand that. I go in a lot but I do have medical issues but they NEVER take me serious! I HATE the hospitals here. 🙁When I was with my ex for two years she would go in quite a lot and they could never find out what the problem was. They were almost making out that she was making it up. She was very manipulative to me though so anything is possible .
I get that too A LOT! 🙄 Makes me want to be a kid again and live in Florida! I was treated so MUCH better! 😕 Only if I could go back in time.@Gizmo Doctors are known not to listen to women. They are always quick to tell women that their problems are all in tbeir heads.
Going for the X-ray this morning shouldn't take too long to hear back from doctor about the results.
They don't they just say someone will look at it as soon as they can.Maybe the tech will tell you on the spot? 😀
Glad to hear X-ray is normal. 🥳Chest X-ray came back normal so hopefully my asthma goes away soon

Prednisone didn't work but they're getting me to continue the antibiotics. Are they just going to continue to have you on the antibiotics? I can't remember if you're on prednisone?

Hopefully or she will need to figure something else out next Tuesday. She hasn't changed any of my inhalers yet so maybe that's the next plan.Oh wow! I'm not sure why they're doing antibiotics, tbh. But if it works!!

Either that or perhaps my chest infection is trying to get better but my asthma doesn't want it to. 😱Maybe your body has gotten used to the inhaler you've been using?
I don't suffer from asthma, but my eldest son does. It was back in 2018, he started making a hiccup noise, which gradually got worse and obviously worried me, so I took him to the doctors, and the doctor put him on a nebuliser and would not let him leave for the hospital until we had transport.
Over 6 hours in hospital with tests and such, and he was diagnosed with asthma, but it is not asthma that he has all the time, it's allergy asthma when he comes into contact with anything he has an allergy to, which we know is certain breeds of cat and dust as well as pollen.
