I really like the banner. The brush, with the atomic background really fits your site well and really draws guests in.
It is very easy to register, looking at the registration area, it would take a maximum of 30 seconds to register.. a lot quicker than the insanely complicated registration systems out there today.
I'm a big SMF fan, great choice with that software.
Your layout is perfect. It's not overdone, and it has no clutter, and no ridiculous boards.
Forum Cons:
You should have your Introductions board in the " Important stuff " category, not in the general area.
Final/General Thoughts:
As you notice, there's only one con. That's great news for you 🙂
I really just think the main problem with your site is that you're not promoting it enough, and taking part in enough exchanges. You need to do this in order to make the site successful, take advantage of all of the FP services, like Packages and Featured forum. It will help your site a lot. The only reason there's a point off is that your site isn't being advertised enough.

Advertising and getting members seems to be the toughest part of having a forum for me. I'll be using the services here though and I'll advertise as much as I can.
