Do you listen to Audio Books? What service do you use?

I used to use Audible because I got a free month. I enjoyed it a lot, it was very cool and convenient to listen to on the go.

I don't use audio books at all, I can never concentrate on the story enough when just listening to it. I have to read it and be involved in the book.

Not really. I work in a book store, and the store I work in and all other book stores in Norway are selling less and less audio books. It's a dying breed.

That's still not going to help me read. 😛 I would have to physically read it in order to actually focus on the story, otherwise it's just some dude telling me a boring old story, and knowing and getting distracted easily with that kind of stuff, I would never end up finishing.

I love listening to audio books while walking around town or if I'm on a long drive some where. If I'm really into a story I even listen to it while I'm cleaning the apartment.

I'm too easily distracted to listen to audiobooks. I've downloaded a free reading of Sherlock Holmes and burn them in a CD for my Dad for his birthday a few years back, though. Shame I forgot the site, it offers free audiobooks of old series that aren't copyrighted anymore. It was called [something]-project, I think. I vaguely remember the site name being German-ish.

I don't use a particular site but I get lucky sometimes and find a free audiobook when I search a specific title by using Google.

Are you sure it's because you want to read at your own pace or more that you don't really have an opportunity to listen to a story?
