First Impressions & Appearance – (17 out of 20)
Upon first entering Audio Shack, I was truly astonished by the creativity of your design & layout of AS. The color scheme was very nice, though the theme seemed a little basic. The color scheme is nice and all but it is also used very often. A white and blue color scheme seems to be a very common color scheme these days. One thing that I saw about your theme that stood out to me though was the banner. The icon & font were very nice looking and went well together and the color of the icon and font were very well chosen to fit the black header. The favicon image though didn't really make sense to me. The orange and the eyes really confused me to be honest. I would highly suggest getting a favicon image that suites your design a bit more. Overall, the site has a lovely layout but just try working on the favicon and thinking of some other color schemes to make your site a bit more unique.
Site Layout – (15 out of 20)
Looking into the layout and organization of your site, the layout seems nice and how you set up your articles to be 4 in a row was nice but I noticed they all aren't perfectly align. I would suggest trying to align all of your content in their rows so that the layout looks a bit more organized as well as professional. Your navigation bar is very well developed and I love the drop down menu with all of the separate categories so that you can show where all of the content is at and makes it easier to find specific ones. With the content and such, you have really used up a lot of your open space which is very nice to see and really helps make it easier on you because having a lot of open space can really become a pain. One thing that I loved about your layout is the slider effect underneath the header. That is a very nice way to promote content and events. Overall, your layout is nice, it just has a few things that could be worked on.
Statistics and Activity – (14 out of 20)
Looking at your stats, seeing that this is a blog, there aren't ways that I can see how many members and such that you have but I can still look more into your ranking in the search engines and such. That way you know where you stand and how you can get yourself up there even more. So looking at your rankings, your Alexa ranking stands at 4,505,389 and your US ranking stands at N/A. This means that you haven't gotten much notoriety by any search engine with your ranking being over 4.5 million and your us ranking isn't even available. I also noticed that you have no star reviews which means you haven't gotten any people to review your sites and help boost up your Alexa ranking. There are many places to get star reviews as well which can help your overall ranking. And you have a total of 10 sites linking in which is ok but for a site like this, you might want to get promoting a bit more to help get the word out. Overall, I think that you have a lot to do with your stats regarding the site, so let's move on.
Content – (17 out of 20)
After looking around the site for a while, I can honestly say you have a lovely amount of content. The content of this site is not only in great amounts, it is something that you don't see every day. Being that the content was very unique as it wasn't a basic text article, the content is videos which isn't something you can see around on the web and on many blogs these days. That was something that really stood out to me. The content being videos really grabbed my attention and really made me wonder why this hasn't been done before on other blogs. It really takes blogging to a whole new meaning when you use videos as content instead of basic text articles. Overall, looking at the content, you have some very great and unique content and a vast variety I might add. Keep up the great work!
Spelling/Grammar & Professionalism – (16 out of 20)
Looking into the professionalism of Audio Shack, I can honestly say that AS has a very professional look and feel to it for me when I look at the site. I am very pleased to see how professional the site has grown since the last time I reviewed it, it looks very clean, very nice and all around amazing. After watching some of the videos, the grammar seemed very well and didn't have many speaking errors. There weren't any spelling errors as there is no text to be reviewed due to all of your content being videos. So overall, I think that AS has a lot of great professional features and the grammar is very clean and very well developed and all I can say is to keep up the great work!
