I'm not sure exactly what you want; is it that you're struggling to install AutoMod to your site? If that's the case, you could just follow these instructions

I would consider using phpBB 3.1 if I were you. It uses extensions instead of mods so it is really easy to install extensions without needing to edit core files. Also there is not really much point using 3.0 to build a forum when 3.1 is out you would need to move over at some point in the near future to still get phpBB and mod updates.

Just install auto mod... you would not believe the aggravation phpbb 3.1 is ....if anything they have complicated it even more..try installing a logo now thats hell! I deleted it 10 minutes after I installed it!

Not really.... Just upload a new logo overwriting the old one or edit the image path in imageset.css. Takes 30 seconds. 10 minutes is not long enough to understand a forum software and judge it properly.

Extensions in 3.1 are way better than mods and auto mod in 3.0. That is why I think 3.1 is better for users who are not confident installing mods themselves. Updating from 3.0 to 3.1 is not easy if you want to not lose mods and mods data.

I would not give 2 cent for any of it. In my opinion its always been a pain in the ass to upgrade or install anything on it how it got to be a leading software is beyond me but I digress.
