Automated Forum.

I was wondering, you know when you go to IPBfree you fill in a simple form and it automatically sets up your forum. I would like to do this but giving away sub-domains for hosting the forums.

can anyone help, or point me in the right direction?

What software did you want to offer?

Remember you need a powerful web host to be able to host your own forums. Attempt running a forum hosting script on a shared host and you're almost guaranteed to get suspended.

There are some fairly good results if you type in such things as "phpBB3 hosting script" into Google.

i was looking at SMF because im unaware of someone who does that. Thank MHW i will try typing 'SMF Hosting Script' into google.

SMF have several free hosting providers already, and have been on the go for years.

Type "SMF Free Hosting" into Google and see a list of them.

There are also huge numbers of providers of Phpbb3 and IPB. There are even a couple of VBulletin hosters going around although I think that technically they are not allowed to do it and I personally wouldnt want to set up a forum on these hosting sites because I believe they would only be temporary before VB shut them down.

I havent seen many WOW or Ultra boards so might be interesting to check out their terms and conditions and whether they can be hosted by script 😉
