Automatic backup through cron?

Does anyone know of any scripts which will make a Fullbackup of my site or mySQL database only and then email the backup to a specified email address or save it on my server ?

I've actually been checking if Filezilla can do this and have just today been told (on the Filezilla forum) that they can't.

I've heard that it can be done with CuteFTP and I'll be checking them next.

Looks like it can be done with the professional version of Cute FTP, starting at $59.99.

Still haven't got a response from Cute FTP.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/automysqlbackup/ downloads a file called automysqlbackup.sh.2.5 which wont open on my PC.

I tried changing the .sh.2.5 extension to .exe but that didn't work either. Any ideas?

I think it only works for linux servers Fergal 🙁
The php based basicly does the same thing, And works on any server with PHP.
