AutoMOD

Does anyone use this? Does it work for you? I've tried it once and I uninstalled it. I found it easier to just add the MOD myself.

Automod for phpbb doesn't work to well compared to other auto installers like the smf auto install.

You can't compare 'Blinky' (code name for AutoMOD) to an SMF auto
installer because they are two completely different pieces of software
so even if one doesn't work well you can't compare them 😉

I have successfully installed about 15, maybe more MODs using AutoMOD
so it does work, but it can have it's moments.

I haven't tried it. I have seen it cause many issues and i prefer to install them manually.

Yeah I prefer to do them manually because then I can see the source of a problem if caused and I also have a backup as well.

It does work though with a lot MODs.

AutoMOD doesn't work really well with FTP... I've tried it, works great on fi.st servers but I usually install the MOD manually. 😀

Oh yikes, a few months ago I had a forum separate from my main one and AutoMOD was a nightmare, let me put it that way.
