Why do you choose the avatar you have on forums? Do you create one from scratch? Use one from the forum itself? Or have a picture you like the most?
Do you keep the same one on forums or use a different one? Do you change it up often?

I picked my humpback whale as it’s my favorite whale. Never seen one in real life but it’s on my bucket list 🙂
I keep the same picture. One, I like it lol Two, it helps people recognize & remember me throughout all the forums I’m in.

I change mine up every once in a while. I'm currently using Mecha Sonic as my avatar here because he's my favorite villain from the Sonic franchise plus FP allows gifs avatars.

I've used the same avatar for more than 20 years. It's unique, created for me by a very talented graphics artist based on his vision inspired by my user name. It's something I use everywhere and something I'll never change.

I change mine up every once in a while.

It can be quite disconcerting when a longstanding member changes their avatar. While on the surface it may seem quite trivial, an avatar helps create an identity because it's what you've chosen to represent you in the virtual world 🙂

No idea, I always had the same name but regards avatars, aren't anything special about it. My steam account used the same avatar for years, half of the life I had the account in fact. It's only been almost a month since I had a name change and whatnot on FP. Not as it's my favourite or anything.

When I started posting on forums in 2015, I was using my real name and real photo. As I joined one forum after another forum, I thought it was not safe for me to use a real name and a real photo, therefore, I started using a pen name and an avatar.

Eagle Falls. It is in a very rugged and remote portion of Bell Smith Springs in the Shawnee National Forest here in southern Illinois.

The avatar I use right now is a Chibi that was uniquely created for me for my content creation and streaming. Being that it represents me now and who I am I use it as an avatar as well as a logo for content creation and streaming. It's my own brand so to speak 🙂
