Just a discussion topic on avatars...

Avatars are a pretty awesome to represent yourself, and are probably one of the most widely used features on a board.

Do you have an avatar that you've kept for a long time, and still use it? Or do you think of avatars as expendable and change every couple days. Or do you not really even care?

The Avatar I am currently using I cut out. It's anime, yeah, but I think it represents me pretty well. And it's been my avvy for six months now.
 
Well the avatar I have at the moment I have had for about 3 weeks, I just saw it and it was funny, I was like "Oh yeah, FP avatar update here I come". Used this ever since 🙂.
 
Mine's been with me on every forum since first joining a forum almost 2 years ago.

I fear change 😛
 
I couldn't see you in any other avatar, wesker. 😱 For some reason, that one just suits you, in my honest opinion.
 
Avatars are my fun thing - I have about 150 I have made and now and then when I get a mo I make some new ones - some tend to be rather odd and some are just arty ............. I do have a fair few that I think would be a bit x rated for FP 😉

The "No Avatar" one from AcidTech? 😛

Personally I like to keep the same avatar for a prolonged period of time, normally at least several months. Some might remember when I changed username to Murder he Wrote the associated BSD Daemon avatar...used that for many many months. Came as a shock to some when it was changed.
 
And here is an interesting fact about Murder he Worte, his name is based on a TV show called "Murder, She Wrote" 😉 But ya didn't know that! 😀
 
I change mine every month or two, mainly because i get bored of things pretty quickly. But i do think that keeping the same one for a long time isn't necessarily a bad thing, if people see it they associate it with you immediately 🙂
 
I don' t think I have an avatar if i am sure but i have had loads of previous avatars expressing myself in all ways.
Avatars should be a color of the rainbow that describes you best as they all say. xD
 
I like mine a lot. Char Aznabel is one of my favorite characters in the original Gundam series. I actually like some other Gundam series better than the original one but Char pwns none the less. The expression on his face in no way reflects my personality. =P
 
Mine is Hakudoshi. I used to be a big fan of InuYasha when I was a lot younger. He's a child that pretty much kills everything in his path. XD I also have him because he may look really young, but is extremely intelligent.

:lol: I Remember that show.
 
I first used an avatar...that was in the ZB default avatar galleries.

Then I let change in and made it my character in the MMO that caused a chain reaction causing me to get into forums, AQW, but with lots of cool stuff.

Then it was a giant robot from an old show called Megas XLR XD

Now...I'm at so many forums...that I'm just using my avatars at the ones on IPB and ZB (like my forum) now, too lazy to put resize.
 
I love strawberry milkshakes, and because it has the name of my forum on it, i keep my avatar 🙂
