In my last laboratory checkup, my cholesterol was found to be quite high. The doctor said that I should lessen or better to avoid eating meat. That means chicken, pork and beef. That also means my diet would be fish and vegetables. One guru said that whatever we do, we end up dead at the end of the road so it is best to enjoy life. Now I am torn between 2 choices – what the doctor said and what the guru said.

I am strictly a medical person so I will not go into what to follow and what not to follow.

But here is a little tip - Yes meat means chicken, beef and pork and stuff like that which increases your cholesterol level. However, there is a another section of meat like the meat of emu which are lean and donot increase the blood cholesterol level.
