Go to the google search function on your browser (NOT GOOGLE.com!!)

type "ascii art" you will notice the google logo on the top left hand side when you search turns into ascii art you can copy+paste!

When on a results page, to the right of the search box you will see "Instant is on ▼". Click that and set to off.
