First Impressions & Appearance - (Out of 20)
-Right off the bat, the domain doesn’t fit. Obviously I won’t hold that against you as the transition is in progress and you made that clear. Good to know you have a concrete plan for moving in a different direction.
-A new banner would be nice. Something that fits the metal theme, such as a guitar, bass, drums, etc. or maybe even band logos. You can’t really go wrong as long as you involve music in your banner.
-I think a guitar would work nicely as a post icon.
-It’s a decent forum theme, but I’m not feeling the customization. It could use some color patterns, more images or more metal-y colors.

Site Layout - (Out of 20)
-Given that the site used to be about Disturbed, I think the Disturbed section deserves a bigger part in the forum. At least move it to the Music section. There has to be a good deal of people who want to talk about the band.
-I can’t argue with the rest of the layout. The banner could stand to be shifted to the right a small bit, but not a lot. It’s not a big deal. The rest of the layout is perfect as far as I’m concerned.

Statistics and Activity - (Out of 20)
-Almost 2,000 topics and 60,000 posts? That’s a pretty good sized forum. The almost 30 posts per topic is a huge number.
-The forum is pretty active now. I’m sure there was a small setback due to the changing of the forum but with time things will improve. More announcements would be nice to update members on the progress of the forum.
-Spread the word, get more topics and you will have a forum just as active as the previous forum.

Staff Moderation - (Out of 20)
-The staff seems to be doing a good job. I don’t see any spam or any other issues on the site so all is good.
-One thing I did like was seeing staff handle criticism about the change well. Members are inevitably upset but that doesn’t throw your staff off. More concrete info would be nice though.

-Change the first forum description to “Check here for website news and updates.”
-The forum is very professional and the grammar is top-notch. I had to get really anal just to find that one thing.

-The grammar and professionalism. It might sound silly, but I’m very picky and I like forums that are near-perfect in those respects.

-The theme could use some tweaking. I know in a few weeks the forum will look great and that will definitely help.
