Do you guys back up your files on your computer? Do you use a flash drive, or some other external source to do it?

I sometimes back up files and my websites which are important, but a lot of the stuff I can re-download from the internet like apps, and program installers which become outdated very fast since programs are always releasing newer versions like Firefox which is up to 23.

All my web host which I subscribe to also backup my site daily, so I backup my site only when I make major changes, and I backup my forum and site databases on a weekly basis.

No, I don't regularly back up my files. That's why I was so stressed when my laptop was broken a while ago and couldn't be opened; all my uni-related files were on that laptop. Dad bought me an external hard drive recently, I'll use it to back up my files more often. Hopefully. 😛

I find using the school's free file storage folder pretty good for backing up files since it is free, and I can access the files at home by logging into my school account on the school website, and when I'm at home by logging into my school's website.

Dropbox, Google Drive, and Skydrive are also pretty good for storing homework online by using a web browser or apps to back stuff up.

I back up my C: drive onto my E: drive, which isn't really used for much else. I should probably consider some storage that's not connected to my computer, but I just have never really gotten around to it.

I back up my important files and multimedia files. Important files consist of my work and school documents, and multimedia files include music, video and images. I always back them up using my flash drive, or DropBox.
