Has anyone here used (paid for) backlink services before?

I was looking at this one: http://backlinksource.net/ and I was just wondering whether anyone here has actually had experience with something like this and whether it works and is worth spending money on?

Interesting read. I had kinda figured it was too good to be true. Those links to whatever website they are talking about at the end don't work though, which is rather disheartening.
