Ok, so i got some questions about the Phpbb backups.

1) example, before my forum was backup'd, it has 500 posts, than before i made the backup to restore the forum, a few members posted on the forum and now it has 560 posts. Than i made the backup which i downloaded when the forum has 1000 posts, will my forum end up having 1000 posts or 1060 posts (the 60 by the members) in the end?

2) if i install a mod, than a few minutes later do a backup to a day earlier, will the mod i installed BEFORE the backup still stay or will be gone?

help clear my mind thanks!

Will i tried install Chat Mod Then it game across PHP Syntax Error I Then backedUp The Forum Bug was still there i Think Mod Would Still Remain It took me 5 hours fix forum Cach folder was corrupted Due to installation Error

A full backup overwrites everything, so in your first example, you would only have 1000 posts and in the second example, the MOD would be removed as you reverted to an earlier day before the MOD was installed.

Are you talking about phpbb backups? or cPanel backups? I think with phpbb backups its just the db which if it installed mysql stuff you would lose it but not the file edits (if their not stored in the db) if its a cPanel backup it over writes everything.
