For your forum, how much bandwidth do you take up per month and how much diskpace do you use?

Yes you do. There's no such thing as "unlimited".

Try uploading a few TB of data and your host won't be so unlimited.

Yeah, no such thing as unlimited. It appears unlimited because 1GB is minute compared to 5TB.

Actually you do have "unlimited" however your host won't let you upload more then they can handle, and they'll come up with some stupid excuse such as CPU limits etc.
