Banned for no reason, how would you feel ?

I think they are just mad because you were not active. Thats a reason for a ban.

I posted a thread a while ago which voices my opinion on situations like this, but...

The admin of the forum has the right to ban for any reason, even if it's a stupid reason.

I, personally would just move on, and not make a fuss.

Thats no reason at all! They can just deactivate may account or delete it but to ban me by IP ? That is one major blunder of an unexperienced webmaster.

When I had a forum I did delete registered members who had not posted, I did however give them fair warning via an email first, I did not ban their IP's though 🙁

There no reason to belief that is the case. It says for not being active not for insulting which I didn't do anyway on there forum.

This is just a clear example not everyone should have the right to be a webmaster.

You're missing the point. It is their forum, they can do whatever they please and do not need a valid reason for banning. Now, if they ban you being white or black, then you can report them for discrimination.

I would just laugh at them as it just shows how inexperienced they are as an admin and how hard the forum will eventually fail. No good forum lasts with an admin like that.

Okay the admin has the right to do anything. Maybe you would of met him on another forum, so he got mad that your were on that forum and not yours so he just banned you. It could happen :shrug:

Honestly I would probably laugh as hard as I could at that kind of ban.

If I'd previously contributed to the Forum quite a lot, but Had a busy month or two, I'd probably feel gutted at first, but then realise that the Administrator that banned me is very immature and doesn't know how to run a Forum, so I'd get over it pretty quickly.

Its actually happened to me recently. The admin and my friend had some beef / drama so he bans the friend and me just because I associate with this person he hates. So technically I was banned for no reason as I broke none of his rules.

Oh thats happened to me and my friend on freeadz. A old forum so I never went back.
