Banner Ad File Size Reduction

I have a 468 x 60 .jpg banner ad, with a file size of 63K. I would like someone to reduce the file size of that banner as much as possible. It definitely needs to be below 40K and preferably below 30K.

If this is something you can do, please let me know how much you would charge and how quickly you can do it. I can pay in either FP or via PayPal.

Have you tried saving the file as a .gif?

Tindris, no I haven't tried that. I'm not familiar with working with graphics and I'd prefer have someone else reduce the files size for me. I don't mind if they give me back the banner as a GIF or PNG, once the quality is OK and the file size has been reduced.
