i got a banner but how do you put it on like forum promotion on top of this forum

Upload it to were-ever (like your host's admin panel)

And then refresh the page or you may have to clear your cache

Do you have a logo upload area in the ACP?

If not post a screenshot of your ACP showing all the options down the left.
