Right, so I'm practicing some stuff with SMF but I can't for the life of me seem to work out how to put up a banner.

I'm using the Agisti theme and I tried putting something in the "Logo image URL:" section, but nothing seems to show up. :/

Do I need to edit the CSS, or something?

There are two ways of doing this.

First is by via the admin area.

Or

Renaming the required banner the smae as the smflogo text in the file.

If the 2nd way is the way you go then make sure the banner is in png format only.

Well, I have my banner as GIF so the transparent background will work in the IE browser. :/

How do I do the first option?

All 3 of my forums are on 2.0

Admin > Configuration > Current Theme > Logo Image URL

I use photobucket to store my images.

Well, I tried that but the image wouldn't show. However, I'll try renaming it and saving it as a PNG. I just can't do it right now...

But yeah, thanks for the input.

Not exactly sure what you mean. (I am new to SMF after all).

How do I check if it's live?

By live he means can you give the link out 😛

Id help you but unfortunately im not very nifty with SMF 😛

The link may help.

The link will take you to Big Ears Development which is mainly my test forum although I have some useful information for first time users too.

Sorry, what link?

Any chance you could make it so guests can view the posts? Even just temporarily? :/

Unfortunately I am unable to do so.

The feature is one of the mods I applied to the forum.

Just that I was having some trouble registering. :/ Don't know what you mean by 'Name the Portal used in the forum'? I assumed it would be SMF but it doesn't let me through. 😛

(Sorry if I sound like an idiot).

Edit: Nevermind, FINALLY got it. Dx

As far as I can see, your theme doesn't support a banner. Additionally the theme is crappily coded.
Can you attach the index.template.php from the custom theme here?

Yeah, I know how to get it, but most likely it has been modified when you installed MODs or whatnot.
Looking at the code, I don't see a place for a banner. I'd suggest a different theme.
