err i thought i shouldn't vote because my designs are also in the poll 😛
 
Voted for #2.

To be honest with you, I didn't really like any of the designs. Personally, I prefer clean designs rather than it being full of graphics.

I voted for #2 but I had equal thoughts for #1, so my vote was split. #1 is clean but I disliked the smile face and the Yahoo symbol. #2 was structured better with graphics on the sides and text in the center, but the text bothered me.
 
Same here....

I like the background of #1 and the main title text of # 2, I like the slogan text of #1, but it doesn't need so many images just 2 would probably do it?

I'll vote for #1 ....but less logos and main title text of #2 😛
 
I chose number 1.

If they were the only choices I had I wouldn't have any of them.
 
btw if you can provide the link to the forum skin you will be using then i guess it wud be easier for people to choose their option.
 
Must be me but the last 3 look alike,not really original.

I'm with dot on the 'clean design' part.Since pasting some icons on a banner doesn't really make it a 'design' .
Just my humble opinion.
 
the last 3 were the three parts of a single banner because 22_22 liked all three versions.

and here's the actual banner design but the background was removed because he wanted to try a transparent background 🙂

& none of the icons in the banner is simply pasted i have worked on all of them especially the MSN logo you won't find it anywhere else.

the yahoo and aol logo i agree have got simple shadow added on them. but for the background bubble, the diary, the msn icon, the bubble text in bottom it took a good bit of time,
the main text is something i have done a lot before so it didn't took me much time.

just thought i would give the link of original banner as some parts of current option are hiding due to transparent background.

Not really a fan of any but out the one number one is by far the best though 🙂
 
Maybe I should restart this topic asking if users like banner #1 then seeing it has alot of votes but no one likes it. :S
 
i personally now feel that people want to see more artwork in banners too.
 
I voted Banner #1, it looks cool.
 
Banner 2 because The Theme does not have a blue backround. (I am the founder with 22_22)
 
Hmm ok hard one I voted number 1 but I don't like the voice balloons or the green text - but the rest of it is good and you've got a great "t" favicon design shouting out from it - a few tweaks and it could be really good.
