New here posting from Cincinnati, Ohio. Studying different forums and learning new ways to build communities. The methods we used back in 1997 to build forum participation is entirely different from today's methods. Anyway, I'm a forum administrator and looking forward to meeting new friends and building PR10 forums. I learned about this site from surfing Google.

Tim R., in 1997 the Internet was new and hot in the United States. At that time all you had to do was announce a website with a forum and you had hundreds of people rushing to your site. People did not care much about who put the forum together. They were just looking for some people with similar interest. So your forums became active pretty quickly. Spam was not a big issue then like now. As a matter of fact, I remember many people saying that alot of the spam they were receiving was "good" and that they would not have learned about many sites without being spammed. Today, that sentiment is almost unheard of. Any more comments?

Wow.. Sounds like you had some good times back then.
Have fun on this place though.
