Bashing Your Head off a Wall!!!!

Ever feel like this when engaging in the online promotion game?

This morning, we tried to bring over a key person to our forums, one which we have had an ongoing friendship with ... so explaining the background to our forum and that we need local support, the answer was "Sorry! ... I am more of a visual person ... I find Forums confusing!!" .. then others tell you they find forums intimidating or that they are far too busy ... also to be found on Facebook every hour, every day, every week, every month etc.

This comes from someone who is on Facebook LOTS!!!!! .. a social platform who most would agree, is far more confusing and constantly moving the furniture around, compared with the Forum Environment.

What can you do!! ?? !!!

I don't find ether confusing but that's not the point. What you can do is try to show him around or send him a guide, simply make the forum appeal to him 🙂

It's funny how to all of us, forums are really simple and easy to use, but to people that have never been on forums, it's the most confusing thing ever. I have brought friends on to forums before and some people just can't figure it out.

.. at the end of the day friends, I think it's obviously a poor excuse, as they have no intention of even checking us out.

It's just sad these days, that people feel they can dish out a mammoth amount of excuses, rather than tell it how it is.

Anyone genuinely interested would invite the prospect of having us show them the ropes, or display an appetite to know more about our forums.

this, or they just simply lose interest or think it's boring...

but i guess it depends on the type of forums and what the forum is used for...
