First Impressions: (5 out of 15)
My first impressions of the site were eh. It took around 5 or 6 seconds for the whole website to load fully so I could use it and that generally isn't a good thing at all. It could have just been my internet, but if it's happening with other people, you should definitely look into getting that fixed ASAP. Everything else I've looked at so far look alright to me.
Site Structure: (15 out of 15)
The overall site structure is good. Everything on the site can be easily found and all of the categories look nice and organized. I also like how you have the social media buttons up at the top too. They fit well where they are and they are very easy to find if you wanted to look at the social media sites this website is on.
Design Quality: (9 out of 15)
I like the overall design. The theme is very easy on the eyes. Like I was saying above, everything is nice and organized. I did notice that on some of the social media buttons, it doesn't link me to anything, though. Are you planning on linking the social media websites for those buttons? If not, I think you should remove them since they are useless if they don't link to anything. The YouTube button is a little messed up as well. I had to get pretty close to my computer screen to be able to make out what it said. Are there any other buttons you could use to replace that one? I'm sure you could find a few that match the other ones somewhere online. As I continue to scroll down near the bottom, the page starts to get very plain on the right side. You have something there that shows a preview of the Facebook group page. Have you thought about adding other previews for the other social media pages the website is connected with? You could also just add more article previews in the empty spots to fill it up a little.
Originality: (6 out of 15)
I am going to be very blunt here. The niche of the website isn't that original ONLY because there are so many news/political websites out there. I also see a lot of articles on the website that are similar to others on bigger news websites. That being said, it is important for you to try to find different news that isn't already on all the other sites. That will also help you gain more readers because most of the time, they want to read about things that aren't already posted everywhere.
