I've done all of my stuff on Facebook, though, I am considering using Twitter ads soon. Anyway, here is some thoughts on Facebook. Well, first of all, I have done my major work on a Facebook page - and that was grown by promoting with an average cost of 0.20 a lead (for the drum lesson niche). However, though, it can be expensive to communicate to your Facebook page. In that case, some marketers want to develop a Facebook group.
Well, a Facebook group cannot be directly promoted thru Facebook. Instead, you can only promote it on your Facebook page or via a third party landing page - not associated with Facebook. However, the upside, as sort of alluded to - is that the communication to the group is way cheaper than your communication to the page - because you don't have to "pay to play". In other words, communication to a Facebook page is highly limited - unless you boost the post - and boosting can be as expensive as getting followers to the page. In other words, your having to pay again - over and over.
Well, is there anyone who might want to go the route of Facebook page - and not group? As of now, I think I can handle boosting on a Facebook page, but I have considered the alternative.
