We have advertising section too. It's just many people give up half way. That's why there aren't many websites with good number of posts and an established community. Those are what, that determines a website.

Opinions differ. In my opinion, a community with at least 1000 posts and which gets at least 20 posts daily can be called as a good website.

You are right but the majority of forums currently fall below those numbers (especially most of the ones here). I can think of a small number of forums that are currently hitting those numbers and higher.
