Hello! I just found this game on Steam(28 euros).
Battle Brothers is a turn-based strategy game set in a gritty low-fantasy medieval world. You become the leader of a band of mercenaries when their previous boss is killed by a gang of bandits. The attack which kills him also leaves your band of mercenaries in ruins, with only a couple of members left standing and little supplies or money to their name. It is up to you to not only restore their strength and numbers, but also develop them into a powerful and (and wealthy) elite fighting force.
In order to do that, however, you will need men, weapons, armor, and other equipment. These things, in turn, require gold, of which you have very little. Which means that you need to take on jobs. Lots and lots of jobs.
This provides the addicting gameplay loop of Battle Brothers: spend all of your money buying some gear and supplies and hiring men, take on some jobs, get paid, replenish your supplies, hope that you have slightly more money than you did when you began (you probably won’t), and then do it all again.
So it all sounds like a good action!
