First Impressions & Appearance
Wow! I must say your forum is one of the best designed ones that I’ve seen. When you first open up your forum the first thing you notice is the header. It’s amazing, to say the least. I really like the way how everything has been brought together. All the elements work really well together – It’s hard to fault. One thing I do suggest though is improving on the sign. The text is slightly pixelated around the edges. I’m a member of your site, and I’ve looked at a lot fo your Smiley Sets, and I think that one smiley from each set (or some select sets) on the header would look great.
Going on with the rest of the appearance of your forum, I love the way that the header has been tied into the rest of theme, not only with the colours but with the vines. The fact that you’ve continued the header theme all the way throughout the forum is really good. I think the New/Old or On/Off (or whatever you call them) are a bit bland and let the rest of the design down. I suggest designing new owns and incorporating the design into them more. The Header Links (Mark All Forums Read etc.) are slightly hard to read with the White Font Colour and the Black Shadow – Try changing the colours around a little bit to make them easier to read.

Site Layout
You’ve got a good layout. To start with you’ve got the important boards, like Announcements and Suggestions and Feedback. You then go onto your Genre Specific ones and finally to the General Discussion Board. However, I think that you’ve limited the Discussion on your board as such, by having only one General Discussion Board. This tends to prove the most popular, and while I understand trying to make that not the focus, I think having Sub Boards for things like Media, Sports etc. would boost the layout.

Statistics and Activity
57 Threads, 402 Posts and 47 Members isn’t the best stats wise. Even without crunching the numbers the ratios aren’t good. For a forum that’s been opened a week, your averaging 57 Posts, 8 Threads and 9 New Users a Day. Going even further, it’s only 8 Posts, and 1 Thread per user. None of these stats are very good. While these aren’t the best, they’re okay for a new, very genre specific forum.
Forgetting about the Stats, all your posts and threads are evenly spread out throughout your boards and it’s great to see that your Off Topic Discussion board isn’t the busiest. This shows that your members have joined because the genre of the board interests them, and have joined because they generally want to come and post on your forum. All of these things are plus for any forum.

Staff Moderation
The only Staff Member on your forum, is you, the admin. For a forum the size of yours this is good. There doesn’t seem to be any real need for any moderation and I haven’t noticed anything that requires attention. I think that 1 Staff Member should suit your forum until the work gets too much for you.

Spelling/Grammar & Professionalism
The overall professionalism of your forum is great, as it the general Spelling and Grammar.
However, it’s things like ‘Post your works, blah blah blah and more blahing’ and ‘Filling in the gaps. Me no speak the english, it goes in here. Me want test, in here it goes’ that bring down the professionalism of your forum a great deal. I browsed through a lot of posts of your forum and I found it very hard to find any Spelling and Grammar mistakes. This is great to see in any forum. I suggest changing the two category/board descriptions I mentioned above to something more professional.
