Sidious didn't have friends. Just servants. His friendship with Anakin wasn't actually a friendship. That was all a lie. He only cared what his "apprentices" could do for him. It was an abusive master / slave relationship.

If I were friends with someone from a fictional universe I might have to earn the friendship or else it has no value to me. That being said they would have to be a humble individual. So I would say Garfield.
