I am selling a hand written guide ''Running a successful forum''. It does pass Copyscape and the word count is 6,010... on Word, it reaches a grand total of 13 pages! It covers every aspect of making your forum successful and a lot of time and effort has been put into it.

However, it will cost you if you want a copy. I am charging $5 per copy.

$10 per copy is extremely steep for information you can just research and find online for free.

Did you write this yourself?

Yeah I did.

@ExtremeAds: It took a week and a half to write... did it in small chunks 😛
@QJ: If you want an excerpt... PM me.

Perhaps cut it down and give us the basics free, then if people like it they will buy it? Just an idea. 😉

I would hold off on this. I am going to be releasing a free blog which offers this and a lot mor features.
I would love to see an excerpt, however.

@Keaton: Hmm... nah. A small sample is possible and the price is reasonable. People sell articles that are 1/10 of the length for more....
@Incogneto: As you don't have any plans on buying it, no.
@Jason: Nope, not doing review copies..

How do you know, I'd enjoy what you have to say.
I am also writing my first blog post and it has around 2,000 words so far. This is almost half of your one guide in one post..

Yes, but how do we know his isnt better quality than yours, if you dont like it then leave.

Dude, throughout the forum you go around trashing respectable members by claiming everything you do is better for less. Please, if you don't like the idea, there are thousands of other topics here at FP.

He is saving you time and research to use on your own forum.

@SBFC, PMED. I wanna see this I am really interested. Could you give like a range of what you cover such as contents?
Example as like: "I cover getting traffic, picking the right theme" ect...

You're paying $10 though. Why would I want to pay $10 for something that I can get for free with only a few minutes of research? All I'd have to do is type in "how to make a successful forum" on Google, and I'd get everything I needed to know.

Not to be harsh but I checked the sites in your sig and was not really that impressed. If you are going to sell your tips you should at least be able to demonstrate your skills by linking some very successful pages that you have created/managed.

What are your credentials that make you an expert on the subject? 13 pages? I think I would try the pricing at $1 or $2.

Convo Corner is the only one that is mine. :great:, the last three are paid for advertisements.

I don't claim to be the best forum owner in the world, but I believe my guide would be beneficial to a lot of people.

Also based on feedback, the price is going to reduced to $5.

I can vouch for Sbfc, Convo Corner is probably one of the best forums I have seen.

I've known SBFC for a while and seen lots of his posts... when I get the money Ima buy a copy mate... Mark one for me. 😛

Lol.
