The last six months or so, I've been getting back into programming and IT in general more and more and I'm eager to expand my knowledge as much as possible. I'm curious to see if any of you guys here would be interested in joining a forum that's primarily about programming [all sorts, from php to C# and everything in between, html/css too] with networking/administration on the side?

And please, any feedback will be appreciated as well.

I may be interested... Do you plan to have/have a VPS or a Host and which Forum Software?

For hosting I'll use my own VPS I have already, and scale upwards as I need to in the future.

I would be interested in this but of course it depends on what you offer. I expect there to be lots of people there with very good coding knowledge and able to answer my questions. I also hope that there are very helpful coding guides and a very large member base before I join.

That's what I'm thinking, getting a handful of talented members together before it opens. Maybe offering some guides and tutorials, depending on what members are willing to contribute. I think with how popular and pervasive programming is becoming, it could have a lot of potential if it hits the ground running.

Is anybody here in game development at all? I think having an area for that would be useful. There are a handful of people that are into it on another forum I post on and with how big the gaming market is becoming, a lot of people would find it useful.

Having been down the game development route, I could never find very much information on that specific area. For example a simple brainstorming forum for that, would of helped me. My game got to Alpha 0.0.8 and I gave up.

A gaming development forum, is my suggestion 😀
