Being punctual is caring for other people

In any undertaking, the time is of the essence, in school or office or in personal appointments. What is your take on people who has the habit of coming in late? That is plain arrogance because a latecomer seems not to care for the time of others who are inconvenienced in waiting for him. So if you come in late that means you have no word of honor since you have the understanding to come in on a designated time.

I hate people who are late
I try my best never to be late
and if it looks like I might be I always phone ahead
But normally I am early even for work
I don`t start work till 9pm but am always there by 8.20pm

Time is the only thing that if you give, can be given back. Its the most precious thing. Thats why, I agree with your statement.

I hate when people are late without calling or texting. It's a simple gesture that only takes a second. Why wouldn't someone call/text if they were going to be late? (Assuming there is no emergency)

I am punctual and I hate others who keep me waiting. People should maintain their time as it is very precious and once it is elapsed it won't look back again.

I dislike leaving late to things, and dislike if people are late. The way I see things, is that if you are planning to leave to go somewhere by a specific time, don't inconvenience everyone else by leaving later than that time.
