Bernie Sanders wins New Hampshire!

It doesn't shock me. I honestly think he won Iowa, and the Dems screwed him over on the "coin flip".

Anyway, Mike, do you think he can actually win? I watched his speech earlier and it seemed like his only strategy was to give stuff away. ๐Ÿ˜› I think Sanders is the best Democrat running, but I honestly don't think he could win the election. For a Democrat to win the election, they have to really be able to crack down on the Establishment Democrats, as well as the black vote. I'm honestly not sure if Sanders could do that. I think Hillary would be able to do that better, personally.

Love the avatar, Kino! ๐Ÿ˜€

I honestly don't mind Sanders, Hillary, Trump, and Rubio. But if I had to choose between them, I'd probably pick Sanders. He's also the person I agree with on the most things politically.

Sanders will be the next President.
I hope so! ๐Ÿ˜€

I'm still deciding whether I'm going to vote in the Republican or Democratic primary. If I go Democrat, I'll vote for Sanders. Trump if Republican.

I gave up on who is who and who is winning and who is not, I live in a place that who is not who anymore.

All Bernie has running for him voters wise is the people who live immorally and the lazy that expect free things, but the reality is in this world that doesn't truly exist. What he would create his no value and things with no value no one cares about. So when the money runs out and everyone has their free stuff there will be no value but a flatline default. America economically will be known as one huge major happy hellhole after that. People think the Middle-East is bad right now, but imagine that over here but x10 worse. Not many people realize it, but that's exactly what will happen if he puts his ideas in place if he got elected. Socialism doesn't work in a democracy it has failed in the past and it will fail again here if it is allowed to happen and America will be nothing but a nice dream in the history books as another failed nation.

It would be interesting to see whast happened if both Trump and Sanders ran third party. We could end up with an election where no one wins. ๐Ÿ˜› Doesn't the House of Representatives decide in that case?

I thought they do a revote.

In the 2000 election, there was a recount in Florida that decided the outcome. I don't believe re-votes are typically done though. The last precedent that I recall is John Quincy Adams, in which the election was decided by the house because no candidate won enough electoral college votes. They may have changed the rules though, as that was a very long time ago, and the constitution has been amended quite often since.

Yup. ๐Ÿ˜€

If no candidate receives a majority of Electoral votes, the House of Representatives elects the President from the 3 Presidential candidates who received the most Electoral votes. Each state delegation has one vote. The Senate would elect the Vice President from the 2 Vice Presidential candidates with the most Electoral votes. Each Senator would cast one vote for Vice President. If the House of Representatives fails to elect a President by Inauguration Day, the Vice-President Elect serves as acting President until the deadlock is resolved in the House.

Though, if no one won that means Trump probably won't have a shot at presidency. ๐Ÿ˜›
