Best ad placement?

It's going to be hard to get your adsense to blend in with your skin, but the best place would be a place where many people view - the header, obvious. Probably below the index page link, get a leaderboard ad. Make it so you don't have to scroll down to see it, and make it blend in but maybe change the text or link colour a bit so it stands out. For example, the ads on my website are in the sidebar, and they have my basic website colours. However, the link is red, and the only other place the links are red is in the main text area.

One other last suggestion, is to add the code to show up inbetween the first and second post in a topic. That way, it will be seen, but less in the way.
