anyone have any ideas for a type of computer for my company?
we need lots of storage at a moderate price.
1 laptop and 1 desktop, any ideas?

Ecstacy was just replying with a reasonable answer based on the information provided, which wasn't much.

you should have just put

"Hi I want a computer, thanks."

What will it e used for?

HP/IBM.

KILL TOSHIBA. They are evil.

Wait, supercomp? Get like a big huge Linux.

I guess I'll offer some support since people are being rather sarcastic. o_o

Since you're making games, I'm guessing that you're going to want decent graphics.

This is the cheapest one on Newegg that has 1GB of graphic memory, a decent dual-core processor, a decent HDW, and a good amount of memory. HP is a pretty solid brand.

Another possibility is this one; it's cheaper, but it has a little less graphic memory.

As for the desktop, do you/does someone you know have enough knowledge to build a computer (it's not as hard as some people think)? If so, I'd recommend building a desktop, as you can often do that much more cheaply than you can buy a "name brand" one.

Everyone is being sarcastic because it's like a joke.

1. you know how to make games yet you can't pick out a comp yourself

2. you didn't explain what you wanted

3. Supercomputer is a rather powerful thing....

Anyway, here is what i'd go for.

Intel i7 920 2.66 Ghz
3GB ram (Corsair 1gb modules) unless you want a 64 bit machine which I assume you o not.

Nvidia GTX 260 / 280, if the cost is too much for for the 9800GTX+ (this requires a taller case to fit the mobo) the card will take 2 slots.

Asus P6T SE motherboard (dual card support and supports i7)

HDD is really your choice, probably a 500GB

Here is the build:
