Best Forum Provider

I don't think there is really one that is best, they are all really great.

My favourite is ocPortal and my second choice would be simple machines.
 
I perfer real hosting my my favourite would be forumotion if I had to choose
 
There is no such thing as a universal "best forum solution" (hosted or otherwise).

What's important is to determine "what solution is best for my needs?"
 
Will cpanel hosting or atleast FTP Access is way better then free hosts

Not necessarily, for people who are not technically inclined.
 
Yeah,Good point I know when I first started I used forumotion to begin with then I moved to real hosting
 
Oh I think I may have misunderstood the question. The question is about forum hosts not software?

There are lots of good ones out there both paid and free. I think my favourite is probably obvious lol
 
My favouite cpanel hosting is Uzrhosting
And if i had to choose free hosting it would be Forumotion butforum host can have alot of issues and downtime like when freeforums lots alot of data a while ago (think fergal was going to offer free promotion services back then)
 
Proboards is by far the most advances with 24/7 staff support to feature and htey about to release v5 as well and i think PBS beat out anything i used.
