Best Free Forum?

If you mean 'free' as in remotely hosted, then I'd say Zetaboards. They have a lot of features, they're customisable and have great spam-protection.

If you can't afford that and want something completely free, then freeforums.org offers a forum with a lot of good features. The only downside is you'll have .freeforums.org in the URL but you can always buy a domain and change that.

Depends on what you mean by "free".
If you mean remotely hosted then I find ForumMotion the best.
If you're just looking for a free forum script - then phpBB is my pick.

It's preference really, I tried both of those myself and didn't like them much. I started on freeforums and I was able to get the database of the site and upgrade to vB with no problems. Not sure how easy that'd be with the 2 you mentioned.

myBB is a brilliant free forum software and I highly recommend it. However if you want it to look really professional I would suggest you get a couple of designers in to help you out! 😀

I tried out Zetaboards and Forumotion, But i preferred Forumotion. It's not all that bad, Though My site is still at about 500 posts, but Everyone hates Forumotion, so I'm trying out different hosts...
