Depends on what you want from it. It is really depending on what you need, and what each provider will give you for free.

in my opinion, free hosting cannot be of any good. too limitated.

Free hosting is normally bad. The best i have used was Novahost.org

With free hosting it is very unreliable and it has so many restrictions.

I've had forums on forumotion before and that was ok, but nothing beats payed hosting and full access.

http://www.bryansoft.com/ has some decent free plans, but you have to post a certain amount of post on the forums to get free hosting.

http://sixserve.com - Free, cPanel and unlimited. They have over 10,000 websites hosted and not oversold yet.

They have 3 servers so the chance of overselling is pretty slim.

Yep, Its fast in the beginning.
It's getting slower and slower..
Not a good host

freeforums.org is good but it has to much advertising on it..
