You won't find many freeware ones that are good. Just cutting and audio stuff, use MPEG streamclip. Anything else, you'll have to dish out some $$ for anything half decent.
I want to do some simple stuff. Like cutting up video files, adding music. Stuff like that. Pretty much what windows movie maker can do but a little more advanced. I WOULD use movie maker but it won't install for some reason and i gave up on that.
I use Windows Live Movie Maker for my Youtube screencasts and videos, but I notice it is kind of buggy once you cut too much stuff out. But, it can encode in 1080P.
I believe Windows Live Movie Maker comes with Windows 7.
I have tried windows live mm but there is an error when i try and start it up. Something goes wrong in the install everytime and i can't fix it so movie maker is out of the picture completely.
My version of w7 doesn't have movie maker on there by default.
I will try videospin.
If anyone else knows of other programs lemme know!
UPDATE: Videospin won't let me mute my video and it won't let me add music.
