So i am kinda a noob to be honest, so tried several options , back when i was just doing forums, i tried Hostgator , Hostpapa and some other lesser known ones (independant resellers from WJ when it was still a warez forum).

Recently though i was using IONOS, now at first i was ok with them, until the constant downtime no matter how much i optimized wordpress, and no real help from support with them at all.

But then i installed a new to me cache plugin to help with the images called Smush (not resmushit) and their company wpmudev , well i was interested to see they had servers as well, and all the plugins they offer as well. So i thought i would give them a shot, and holy crap Batman, speeds increased 10fold on the site, they have active monitering, and support is super fast and does everything they can 24/7 to assist. More then happy i made this change.

If you are lookin for a new host for a wordpress project you cant go wrong using them for sure

Try WPMUDEV

I'm not familiar with WPmudev, but my go to hosting providers are Ushost247 and Mddhosting. I've had great experiences with both of them. I've had a server with Ushost247 for a few months now, with great up time, fast speeds and no downtime. Their servers are actually faster than Mddhosting from when I was hosting with them.

Nice i am glad you are happy with them. Shared hosting is great to. wpmudev you get dedicated IP , CPU and RAM on your account unlike shared hosting that can throttle your cpu/ram if others on teh same node use more resource

I see they can offer free hosting and a free .com if I choose to migrate over to them. Maybe a good deal. I'll look into it and report back once I hear from them 🙂

After some email conversation and looking on their site I believe you need a separate hosting plan per site. So say you had 5 WordPress sites you would be paying five times whatever hosting plan you want.

Say a hosting plan is $5 you'll be paying $25 per month.

This is how I understand it.

@iMage as you're a client of theirs is that how you also interpret it?

Ya thats how it works i believe as well. I only have one website right now though. I do believe they have a multisite option as well though, and also have reseller service. I havent looked into etiher of those though

I think they can offer me 12 months free for each site as well as a free domain. Just finalizing details. Their migration team is awfully slow at replying.

Migration is super easy with their tool if you have a recent backups.

It sounds like you've been on quite the hosting adventure. It's great to hear you've found a solution that actually works for you, nothing beats fast support and a site that runs smoothly.

I've just moved my three sites over as they offered me 12 months free hosting and a free domain.

I like how I can choose where I want to be hosted. I did my two projects in the US while my personal site I chose Australia.

I do notice the page load difference. Seems to be faster for me.

I've used both of the live chat and support ticket options and they're really fast at replying. I was able to get on live chat instantly.

The smaller of my three sites did take the longest to migrate though but it was done eventually.

I just saw this! Thank you for the recommendation. <3
