What image host do you like to use, and is there a reason for it?

I prefer to use imgur for longer storage, and droplr for screenshots.

Yeah, I use imgur as well. I use to use min.us but I always seemed to have issues with it.

I'm boring: postimage.org.

I'm also using postimg.org, so far so good. No problem with it. I don't take and upload screenshots too, so not using droplr, but it looks like a good one.

Used to have my own, however I sold it and it turned to a porn site, so not really using it anymore, postimg most of the time or just my own server

I use my own, http://piic.us

I have no plans to sell it, or remove it in any way. Its been running for over a year now.

I use PostImage as it's been around for a while.

I don't really trust the ones which are small or people around here (no offensive) have made. I managed to lose hundreds of images because one closed down, so I just try to stick with the big people who are going to be able to pay the next months hosting. That sucked a lot 🙁

This kind of sums up my thoughts. If I need long term storage, I usually use PhotoBucket or tinypic. For short term, piic is great!

Luke, I think you had similar issue as I did in the past, with wImg, correct? That was too bad.

Yup, sadly Micheal had to close it down, and then I tried another one which a ProBoards member made which was fast, but he had to close it because when sites got DDOSed, he lost a lot of bandwidth 🙁

Zinc?

Haha! You and I with our similar pasts!

I usually use imgur if I'm just uploading a smaller file size picture or uploading for friends but I need an image host with a bigger file size limit. What's a good one?

I tried postimage, but it wasn't reliable and photos kept disappearing. Once it said that I had uploaded a photo that I hadn't uploaded--and it was photo of questionable content.

I use tinypic most of the time unless I need to bulk upload, in which case I'll use photobucket. I used to use imageshack a lot but then I got frustrated with it.

Well am a big fan of image host. Am using Adobe Photoshop and that is greater and best for me

imgur i would say but hmmm. I would host it on my server at the end of the day anyway.
