Who in your opinion is the best inventor?

I have two actually.

Nikola Tesla and Leonardo Di Vinci.

Thomas Edison and Alexander Graham Bell had many impacting inventions. So I would add them to the list.

I like them both but the two i stated in my OP have invented more and have a bigger impact on us today.

Leonoardo Da Vinci ALL THE WAY, 110%!

I found 12 things he invented just now, which I think is all. They're all VERY very advanced and we have just about all of them today. 😀

I don't know if programmers can be inventors.
They technically didn't invent anything new.

Yeah, I wouldn't consider them inventors. The internet has already been invented and that's just like creating a new software.

Perhaps 'creator' is a better word for it. But would still be off by a little bit.
