I only used Maxthon 2 Mobile Web Browser on my Kobo Vox ereader tablet, and it has been working pretty good. I like that it has a tab user interface, and works similar to a desktop web browser.

The default Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread Web browser since it opens Windows instead of Tabs, but the Android browser opens quickly, and is good for single web site browsing when you don't need to open multiple tabs, and prefer a full screen web browsing experience without the Address, and navigational bar using up space.

I also heard Opera Mini, and Dolphin Browser HD are also pretty good, but have not tried them.

I just got my Samsung Galaxy S2 (Epic 4G Touch) and LOVE IT. WIth that said it's running ice cream sandwich (Android 4.0) and the browser is great. I can notice somethings that are a bit funky with all mobile browsers (for example my sis got an HTC Touch or w/e which runs Windows 7 and of COURSE has IE coding in that browser (which sucks for me as I have to redo my mobile browser to accept the new styling and alter the whole site to make it run fine on that).

Though Android does make nice browsers for their phones which is nice. Not sure if you can ever call any mobile browser the "best" as there are so many and most just function the same way now.

I use Safari while on my iPod Touch. It's fast, clean and gets the job done.

I tested Dolphin HD Browser, Opera Mobile and Opera Mini recently on my eReader Tablet.

Dolphin Browser kinds of reminds me of the user interface for Google Chrome with tabs. But, you can draw gestures with your fingers to go back and forward, etc.

Opera Mini and Mobile are very similar looks. Opera Mini is a a proxy browser which compresses images to load faster on a cell phone. It also modifies the Mark-Up HTML language to load faster on mobiles.

Opera Mobile is a full Mobile browser which loads browsers as is.

I like Opera Mini the most for text and picture based websites since it compresses images and changes the markup HTML to load faster on a mobile browser, so I save some bandwidth and battery power, but Opera Mini and Mobile both do not support Flash, video, or most animated and interactive objects.

Both Dolphin HD and Maxthon for Android supports flash, and video. But, I like Maxthon more since it has a nice blue user interface.

I use Atomic Web browser on my iPhone, and I am mad that it isn't available for Droid, because when I get my Galaxy S 2, I will be stuck with using Opera.

The Android browser. Simple as that.
