In your experience, where is the best place to buy advertising for a forum?

Might be a bit bias since I own the website but I have actually had some good success by buying advertising within the PublicityClerks network. I have utilized a lot of forums on there and have had good conversions.

advertising on facebook through the paid section can be good..I've done that before and it brought me some good traffic.

What about Google adwords, this would be a good place to spread the word out about your forum and get exposed.
